Yamanaka Lake Ryozan was chosen by my director for a recent business trip, and I must say, it was an excellent choice. The property offers various recreational opportunities, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. I particularly loved the beautiful surroundings and the serene atmosphere. The facilities provided were truly remarkable, allowing me to unwind after a long day of meetings. The calming spa and wellness center were simply divine, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals made from locally sourced ingredients. my experience at Yamanaka Lake Ryozan was top-notch.
Being a ryokan, the walls are thin and there were some groups staying that were quite loud but overall we found this to be no different to staying in a hostel, holiday park or campground.

Place was beautiful, appreciated the stay.
Reasonable value, room was large, staff were hospitable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and savoury, overall food was excellent. The location was quiet and handy - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Also, the property was 3 miles away from Nagaike Water Park.

Had a good time considering the cost. the location was super convenient, being close to other accommodations and the city. Ate at Izakaya Sushikyu, which was just a stone's throw away from here. 🍣

We had the best time exploring the area on our bikes and playing a round of golf at the nearby course. It was so cool to have the ryokan right next to the golf course, we felt like pros! We even got to play 18 holes, which was epic. Such a perfect vacation for young adventure seekers like us!
The only thing we wished for was a lively nightlife scene nearby. We were in the mood to party after a long day of activities, but there weren't many options for young party-goers in the area.

The traditional Japanese rooms were adorable and cozy, complete with a private onsen. the staff was incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English. Plus, the location was perfect, with stunning views of the nearby lake and Mount Fuji. Another great thing was the option to rent bikes and explore the beautiful surroundings.
That the basic package did not include meals, which would have been nice since the nearest restaurants were a bit of a distance away. the strict rules about showering in limited hours made it a bit inconvenient, especially when trying to get ready before heading out for dinner.

I stayed at Yamanaka Lake Ryozan for a couple of nights to enjoy the beauty of Mount Fuji. Despite the snowy weather on arrival, I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up the next morning to a clear blue sky and a breathtaking view of the mountain. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the lake, surrounded by a peaceful forest. The rooms were clean, cozy, and equipped with heaters that warmed up the space quickly. The friendly and helpful receptionist provided excellent English assistance and gave us valuable information about the area. , the hotel offered free bike rentals, allowing us to explore the nearby attractions conveniently.
I can just recommend this hotel.

As low-budget travelers, we appreciated the reasonable price and the friendly and helpful staff. The English-speaking host, Ritz, made communication easy. The breakfast provided was big and delicious, and we enjoyed the surrounding restaurants. The area was quiet and the room was up to standard for what we paid.
Felt right at home here, no complaints.
